Alberta Permit Pro's Calgary Office is Moving to Chestermere!

ALBERTA PERMIT PRO INC. is proud to announce that we are moving our Calgary Office location.  It will be fully functional as of February 1, 2010 . The new office is located in the Town of Chestermere .

It is our policy to have our office locations in Municipalities which we are partnered with and want to work with us in order to continue building the positive relationships. With that being said, we are very excited about the announcement of the move to Chestermere! We were able to find an easily accessible location with lots of parking and on the main floor of a building. The new location gives us better access to both Highway 1 and the new Stoney Trail therefore providing better access for us to get to all our municipal partners and providing a more accessible location for all applicants as well.

This new office is less than 13 minutes (17.6 km) by car east of our Current Calgary Office.

Directions from our Current Calgary Office:
1. Head east on 32 Ave NE toward 19 St NE  0.6 km
2. Turn right at Barlow Trail NE   1.7 km
3. Take the ramp onto HWY-1 E  14.3 km
4. Take the AB-1A exit toward Chestermere/Calgary/17 Ave SE 0.7 km 
5. Turn right at 17 Ave SE/AB-1A/HWY 1A/Twp Rd 242  0.1 km
6. Take the 1st left onto E Chestermere Dr
7. Destination will be on the left

Please be advised that the new Alberta Private Sewage Systems Standard of Practice 2009
will be coming into effect on December 6, 2009.

There are many changes in this new publication, which will result in changes to application
processing and permit approvals through Alberta Permit Pro. Worthy of note is the site
evaluations that are mandatory with all applications. Please see information attached.

GRANDE PRAIRIE GRAND OPENING BBQ A SUCCESS!!!

Everyone from Alberta Permit Pro, including regional staff, corporate staff and the inspectors would like to thank everyone for the resounding show of support for the Grande Prairie Office grand opening  BBQ on Wednesday, September 23^rd.

We were serving up tasty, burgers while the Safety Codes Officers in Building, Electrical, Plumbing, and Gas were able to meet with contractors and provide helpful advice to a huge crowd that came down.

Highlights of this event include support from a large number of contractors from the area attending to make this a huge success! As well as office administration from some municipalities shared in the excitement. 

The winner of our Golf Bag was: Jay Trout (President of Jet Gas and Heating).

 

However the Big Winner of the day was the United Way as donations were collected, with Alberta Permit Pro matching all proceeds.

Once again Thank You All for the wonderful turn-out and support and making this event such a enormous success.

LINC Numbers

Alberta Permit Pro is VERY PROUD to announce that they are the only agency to implement the use of LINC Numbers into an online system.

We are now the only agency that will provide municipalities with:

• Permit and Inspection status and updates directly updated and easily viewable on a GIS Mapping system
• Permit and Inspection status and updates easily able to be imported into an existing internal database, creating one master database for the municipality
• Information that will require ZERO human labor to match to current internal records with 100% accuracy
• A unique identifier to link all permits to a location (Linc number), thus easily automating Occupancy Certificates
